New Digital DR system X-RAY machine is installed on May, 2020.
What is Digital X-Ray?
It operates by sending X-rays (a form of high frequency electromagnetic radiation) to the necessary body area such as in musculoskeletal (bones, muscles and joints) and pulmonary (lung) systems and then create pictures on a radiograph to look for a disease. The radiographs show the parts of your body in different shades of black and white.
When it is needed?
X-ray imaging is used for further studies such as diagnosis of the urinary tract and female reproductive organs by injecting contrast and for diagnosis of the gastrointestinal tract by taking contrast orally.
